The source of funds is Fund 342, <br />Program 045 (CIP 1). The estimated construction cost is $310,000. <br /> <br />Project summary statement: <br /> <br />This project will remove existing cameras and hardware that have reached the end of <br />their useful life and replace them with new cameras and hardware. A total of 35 high- <br />definition cameras will be installed throughout the public facing areas of the interior <br />and exterior of the building. <br /> <br />Construction will include the procurement and installation of cameras and hardware <br />based on a schematic design submitted by the contractor. Municipal Court staff have <br />been engaged in the process and their recommendations were incorporated into the <br />design and placement of cameras based on priority and areas of concern. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Construction Project entitled “Municipal Court <br />Security Camera Upgrades Project”, Fund 342, Program 045, to accumulate construction <br />costs for the project. <br />
