<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Municipal Court Security Camera <br />Upgrades”, Fund 342, Program 045, to accumulate all design and installation costs for the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and service security cameras in secured facilities <br />throughout the City of Everett. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Municipal Court Judges, Clerks, Staff <br />and Visitors a monitored and safe area within Everett Municipal Court while conducting routine <br />business and associated court activities within the building and on the grounds of the facility. <br /> <br />C. The City recognizes that the existing cameras at Everett Municipal Court have reached the end of <br />their useful life and require replacement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Municipal Court Security Camera <br />Upgrades”, Fund 342, Program 045. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost for the project is $310,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $310,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, Program 045, “Municipal <br />Court Security Camera Upgrades” project. <br /> <br />A.
