This Section covers the requirements for compliance with health and safety <br />precautions and controls for projects without hazardous waste operations. <br />B. Safety plan. <br />C. Protection of equipment, public and City staff. <br />1.02 REFERENCES <br />A. General: The publications listed below form a part of these specifications to the <br />extent referenced. The publications are referred to in the text by basic <br />designations only. <br />B. Code of Federal and State Regulations: <br />1. OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Standards (29 CFR 1910), <br />Publication V2206; OSHA Construction Industry Standards (29 CFR <br />1926). <br />2. National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (40 CFR, part <br />61). <br />3. Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (WISHA) 49.17- <br />49.26 RCW. <br />4. Washington Administration Code (WAC) 296-155 Safety Standards for <br />Construction Work. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. The Contractor shall submit the following submittals. <br />1. Health and Safety Plan (specific to this project): <br />a. This plan shall be delivered within 5 days after Notice to Proceed <br />has been received. <br />b. The plan will be reviewed for completeness. <br />2. Copies of all minutes/notes from daily safety meetings. <br />1.04 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br />A. The Contractor shall develop a Site Specific Health and Safety Plan (Safety Plan) <br />addressing health and safety management methods specific to the project. The <br />Safety Plan shall, at a minimum, include: <br />1. The name of the individual at the jobsite responsible for implementation <br />and compliance with this Safety Plan.
