August 21, 2024 <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />PROPOSED ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2408-16 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE creating a Special Construction Project, entitled “Municipal Court <br />Security Camera Upgrades Project,” Fund 342, Program 045, to accumulate construction <br />costs for the project <br /> <br />Bob Leonard, Facilities, provided an overview of the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2408-18 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE establishing a Voluntary Separation Incentive Program that will be <br />available to eligible City of Everett employees <br /> <br />Lori Cummings and Kandy Bartlett, Administration, provided updates to the proposed ordinance. <br />Discussion ensued with Lori and Kandy answering Council questions. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to increase minimum <br />time of service to 24 months. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to accept the proposed <br />language “not to exceed 55,000” in Section 2d (2). <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />
