August 28, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Bader congratulated Tom Hingson on his retirement, attended a ribbon cutting <br />to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the Milltown Credit Union, and thanked the Mayor for <br />preserving the Sound Transit 510 run. <br /> <br />President Schwab congratulated Tom Hingson on his retirement, spoke on the Voluntary <br />Separation Incentive Program ordinance, public outreach budget sessions and the new council <br />analyst meeting scheduling. <br /> <br />President Schwab stated that Agenda Item No. 11 was pulled from the council agenda and placed <br />on the September 4th regular meeting and moved Agenda Item No. 17 to the end of the agenda <br />to be held last. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Ramsey Ramerman requested a 20-minute executive session pursuant to <br />RCW 42.30.110.1(i) to discuss legal ramifications related to the Voluntary Separation Incentive <br />Program, and to hold the session before the action of the item, with expected action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8062 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$2,506,269.28 for the period ending August 10, 2024 through August 16, 2024. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8063 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $5,505,571.65 for the period ending August 10, 2024. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AMENDED – #2023-157 VEHICLE UPFIT AND SERVICE BODIES
