City of Everett 00 63 63 - 5 Water Filter Plant Portal 4 Improvements WO# 3755 00 63 63 - 5 CHANGE ORDER - AGREED Remove Bid Item #6 – Installation of proposed pipe sections and 36-inch diameter isolation valve on transmission line 2. The proposed installation of pipe sections and a 36-inch diameter isolation valve on transmission line 2 was removed from the project’s scope of work by the City due to the difficulties and high costs associated with keeping the transmission line in operation while the proposed work was completed. Isolation of transmission line 2 was accomplished through the addition of stop logs within Portal 4 via WCD 10. Remove Bid Item #10 – Removal and relocation of Eco-block wall, foundation, and subdrain. The proposed removal and relocation of the existing Eco-block wall, foundation, and subdrain was removed from the project’s scope of work by the City because the work was no longer necessary when Bid Items 6, 7, and 8 were removed. Remove Bid Item #12 – Trench safety system. The proposed trench safety system was removed from the project’s scope for work by the City because the work was no longer necessary when Bid Items 6, 7, and 8 were removed. New Item #101 – Work Change Directives 1-19. Work change directives 1-19 executed to date had a combined cost of $707,046.34 which was paid via unspent project funds. New Item #101 is being added to the project scope to account for the costs associated with work change directives 1-19 and enable the unbuilt work items to be removed from the project scope. Further justification for work change directives 1-19 is attached. New Item #102 – Excavator and Crane Mobilization/Demobilization Credit. New Item #102 is being added to the project scope to account for a cost credit received by the City resulting from the removal of excavator and crane mobilization/demobilization scope of work. Further justification is attached. New Item #103 – Medium Voltage Cable Credit. New Item #103 is being added to the project scope to account for a cost credit received by the City resulting from a change in the type of medium voltage cable installed during the project. Further justification is attached. New Item #104 – Equitable Adjustment. New Item #104 is being added to the project scope to account for actual costs incurred by the project contractor during mobilization/demobilization and during project delays. The delays are outside of the City of Everett’s or the project contractor’s control but have now been addressed. The project contractor provided written notice as per contractual requirements when seeking additional funds to pay for overhead and management costs associated with the project delay.
