CITY OF EVERETT WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41 ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB15(032) <br />WO #3630 July 25, 2024 <br />80 <br />1 included in other items which are included in the sub-section and which are included in the <br />2 proposal. <br />3 <br />4 All costs for Asphalt Tack Coat, Anti Stripping Additive, Compaction Adjustment and <br />5 Joint Sealing Transverse Joints in Paving shall be included in the unit contract price per <br />6 ton for HMA Class ‰ PG 64-22, per ton. <br />7 <br />8 Planing Bituminous Pavement (2 Deep), per square yard. <br />9 <br />10 The Unit contract price for Planing Bituminus Pavement (2 Deep), per square yard shall <br />11 be full payment for all costs incurred to perform the work described in Section 5-04.3(14). <br />12 . <br />13 <br />14 COE 5-06 PVMT PATCHING.rtf <br />15 5-06 PAVEMENT PATCHING <br />16 (******) <br />17 <br />18 Section 5-06 is new and is supplemented with the following: <br />19 <br />20 5-06.1 Description <br />21 <br />22 This work shall consist of the reconstruction and patching of trenches and other <br />23 excavations in paved streets and other paved areas. <br />24 <br />25 5-06.2 Materials <br />26 <br />27 All materials shall conform to the requirements specified for the materials in Sections 5-04 <br />28 & 5-05 of the Standard Specifications except as modified by these Special Provisions. <br />29 <br />30 HMA pavement for patching shall be HMA Class ‰, PG 64-22 as specified in Section 5- <br />31 04 of the Standard Specifications. <br />32 <br />33 Asphalt for temporary pavement patch shall be cold mix asphalt (MC 250) per Section 9- <br />34 02 of the Standard Specifications. Mineral aggregate shall meet the same requirements <br />35 as the aggregates used in HMA Class ‰, PG 64-22. <br />36 <br />37 Tack coat shall be emulsified asphalt grade CSS-1 as specified in Section 9-02 of the <br />38 Standard Specifications. <br />39 <br />40 Cement concrete for pavement patching shall be Class 4000, HES. Curing time for Class <br />41 4000 HES concrete shall be 5 days. <br />42 <br />43 Crushed surfacing top course used for pavement patching shall conform to the <br />44 requirements of Section 9-03.9(3) of the Standard Specifications. <br />45 <br />46 <br />47 5-06.3 Construction Requirements <br />48
