CITY OF EVERETT WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41 ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB15(032) <br />WO #3630 July 25, 2024 <br />121 <br />1 5) Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special <br />2 Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel <br />3 including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines staked <br />4 by the Engineer. <br />5 6) All white parking lines shall be shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br />6 7) All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br />7 8) All plastic shared lane markings (sharrows) and plastic bicycle lane symbols shall <br />8 be Type B Pre-formed Fused Thermoplastic. <br />9 9) Green background for sharrows and plastic bicycle lane symbol, where indicated <br />10 in the plans, shall be Type B Pre-formed fused thermoplastic. <br />11 10) All bicycle symbols and sharrows shall be installed with the bicyclist facing the <br />12 vehicle lane. <br />13 11) Unless otherwise indicated in the plans, all sharrows shall be installed with the <br />14 centerline of the sharrow aligned with the centerline of the vehicle travel lane. <br />15 <br />16 8-22.4 Measurement <br />17 <br />18 Stop Line will be measured by the linear foot of 24 wide marking installed. <br />19 <br />20 The measurement for 24-inch Plastic Green Bike Lane Extension Line and Bike Lane <br />21 Green Zones will be based on the total square feet installed of the green pavement <br />22 marking only. <br />23 <br />24 The measurement for Plastic Bike Symbol Driveway will be measured per each bi- <br />25 directional pair of symbols installed. <br />26 <br />27 Crosswalk line and stop line will be measured by the linear foot of 24 wide marking <br />28 installed. <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 8-22.5 Payment <br />32 <br />33 Section 8-22 is supplemented read as follows: <br />34 <br />35 24-inch Plastic Crosswalk Line, per Linear Foot <br />36 24-inch Plastic Green Bike Lane Extension Line, per square foot. <br />37 24-inch Plastic Stop Bar Line, per linear foot. <br />38 4-inch Paint Line, per Linear Foot <br />39 4-inch Plastic Line, per Linear Foot <br />40 8-inch Plastic Line, per Linear Foot <br />41 Bike Lane Green Zones, per Square Foot <br />42 Painted Curb, per linear foot. <br />43 Plastic Bike Lane Straight/ Turn Symbol, per Each <br />44 Plastic Bike Lane Symbol with Arrow, per Each <br />45 Plastic Bike Lane Symbol with green background, per Each
