And <br />3 Physical Hazards in the bid proposal to become a part of the total bid by the <br />4 Contractor. <br />5 <br />6 1-07.7.GR1 <br />7 Load Limits <br />8 <br />9 1-07.7.INST1.GR1 <br />10 Section 1-07.7 is supplemented with the following: <br />11 <br />12 1-07.7.OPT6.GR1 <br />13 (March 13, 1995) <br />14 If the sources of materials provided by the Contractor necessitates hauling over roads <br />15 other than State Highways, the Contractor shall, at the Contractor’s expense, make all <br />16 arrangements for the use of the haul routes. <br />17 <br />18 1-07.11.GR1 <br />19 Requirements for Nondiscrimination <br />20 <br />21 1-07.11.INST1.GR1 <br />22 Section 1-07.11 is supplemented with the following: <br />23 <br />24 1-07.11(2).OPT1.2025.GR1 <br />25 (January 24, 2024) <br />26 11. The Contractor shall comply with the following nondiscrimination provisions, and <br />27 the Contractor shall ensure the nondiscrimination provisions are included in all <br />28 subcontracts: <br />29 <br />30 a. Nondiscrimination Requirement. During the term of this Contract, the <br />31 Contractor, including all subcontractors, shall not discriminate on the bases <br />32 enumerated at RCW 49.60.530(3). In addition, the Contractor, including all <br />33 subcontractors, shall give written notice of this nondiscrimination <br />34 requirement to any labor organizations with which the Contractor, or <br />35 subcontractor, has a collective bargaining or other agreement. <br />36 <br />37 b. Obligation to Cooperate. The Contractor, including all subcontractors, shall <br />38 cooperate and comply with any Washington state agency investigation <br />39 regarding any allegation that the Contractor, including any subcontractor, <br />40 has engaged in discrimination prohibited by this Contract pursuant to RCW <br />41 49.60.530(3). <br />42 <br />43 c. Default. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, the Contracting <br />44 Agency may suspend the Contract in accordance with Section 1-08.6, upon <br />45 notice of a failure to participate and cooperate with any state agency <br />46 investigation into alleged discrimination prohibited by this Contract, pursuant <br />47 to RCW 49.60.530(3). Any such suspension will remain in place until the <br />48 Contracting Agency receives notification that Contractor, including any <br />49 subcontractor, is cooperating with the investigating state agency. In the <br />50 event the Contractor, or subcontractor, is determined to have engaged in <br />51 discrimination identified at RCW 49.60.530(3), the Contracting Agency may
