If <br />2 placing construction signs will restrict traveled lanes, then the work will be permitted <br />3 during the hours of allowable lane closures. <br />4 <br />5 Advance Notification <br />6 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing of any traffic impacts related to lane <br />7 closure, shoulder closure, sidewalk closure, or any combination for the week by 12:00 <br />8 p.m. (noon) Wednesday the week prior to the stated impacts. <br />9 <br />10 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing ten working days in advance of any <br />11 traffic impacts related to full roadway closure, ramp closure, or both. <br />12 <br />13 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing of any changes to the stated traffic <br />14 impacts a minimum of 48 hours prior to the traffic impacts. <br />15 <br />16 1-07.23(1).OPT10.GR1 <br />17 (October 3, 2022) <br />18 If July 4 occurs on a Tuesday, the prior Monday and Friday are considered to be part <br />19 of a holiday weekend. If July 4 occurs on a Thursday, the following Friday and Monday <br />20 are considered to be part of a holiday weekend. <br />21 <br />22 1-07.24.RTF <br />23 1-07.24 Rights of Way <br />24 (July 23, 2015 APWA GSP) <br />25 <br />26 Delete this section and replace it with the following: <br />27 <br />28 Street Right of Way lines, limits of easements, and limits of construction permits are <br />29 indicated in the Plans. The Contractors construction activities shall be confined within <br />30 these limits, unless arrangements for use of private property are made. <br />31 <br />32 Generally, the Contracting Agency will have obtained, prior to bid opening, all rights of <br />33 way and easements, both permanent and temporary, necessary for carrying out the work. <br />34 Exceptions to this are noted in the Bid Documents or will be brought to the Contractors <br />35 attention by a duly issued Addendum. <br />36 <br />37 Whenever any of the work is accomplished on or through property other than public Right <br />38 of Way, the Contractor shall meet and fulfill all covenants and stipulations of any <br />39 easement agreement obtained by the Contracting Agency from the owner of the private <br />40 property. Copies of the easement agreements may be included in the Contract <br />41 Provisions or made available to the Contractor as soon as practical after they have been <br />42 obtained by the Engineer. <br />43 <br />44 Whenever easements or rights of entry have not been acquired prior to advertising, these <br />45 areas are so noted in the Plans. The Contractor shall not proceed with any portion of the <br />46 work in areas where right of way, easements or rights of entry have not been acquired <br />47 until the Engineer certifies to the Contractor that the right of way or easement is available <br />48 or that the right of entry has been received. If the Contractor is delayed due to acts of <br />49 omission on the part of the Contracting Agency in obtaining easements, rights of entry or <br />50 right of way, the Contractor will be entitled to an extension of time. The Contractor agrees <br />51 that such delay shall not be a breach of contract. <br />52
