CITY OF EVERETT WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41 ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB15(032) <br />WO #3630 July 25, 2024 <br />39 <br />1 Each property owner shall be given 48 hours notice prior to entry by the Contractor. This <br />2 includes entry onto easements and private property where private improvements must be <br />3 adjusted. <br />4 <br />5 The Contractor shall be responsible for providing, without expense or liability to the <br />6 Contracting Agency, any additional land and access thereto that the Contractor may <br />7 desire for temporary construction facilities, storage of materials, or other Contractor <br />8 needs. However, before using any private property, whether adjoining the work or not, <br />9 the Contractor shall file with the Engineer a written permission of the private property <br />10 owner, and, upon vacating the premises, a written release from the property owner of <br />11 each property disturbed or otherwise interfered with by reasons of construction pursued <br />12 under this contract. The statement shall be signed by the private property owner, or <br />13 proper authority acting for the owner of the private property affected, stating that <br />14 permission has been granted to use the property and all necessary permits have been <br />15 obtained or, in the case of a release, that the restoration of the property has been <br />16 satisfactorily accomplished. The statement shall include the parcel number, address, and <br />17 date of signature. Written releases must be filed with the Engineer before the Completion <br />18 Date will be established. <br />19 <br />20 1-08.GR1 <br />21 Prosecution and Progress <br />22 <br />23 1-08.0.RTF <br />24 1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS <br />25 <br />26 Add the following new section: <br />27 <br />28 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br />29 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br />30 <br />31 1-08.0(1).RTF <br />32 Add the following new section: <br />33 <br />34 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br />35 (July 8, 2024APWA GSP) <br />36 <br />37 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held <br />38 between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be invited. <br />39 The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br />40 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br />41 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or <br />42 affected by the work; <br />43 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, <br />44 submittals, etc.; <br />45 4. To review DBE Requirements, Training Plans, and Apprenticeship Plans, when <br />46 applicable. <br />47 5. To establish normal working hours for the work; <br />48 6. To review safety standards and traffic control; and
