18TH STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS 3741 RMT July 03, 2024 24 All entities listed under 1-07.18(2) of these Special Provisions shall be named as additional 1 insureds on the Contractor’s Excess or Umbrella Liability insurance policy. 2 3 This requirement may be satisfied instead through the Contractor’s primary Commercial 4 General and Automobile Liability coverages, or any combination thereof that achieves the 5 overall required limits of insurance. 6 7 COE 1-07.18(5)J.RTF 8 1-07.18(5)J Pollution Liability 9 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) 10 11 The Contractor shall provide a Contractors Pollution Liability policy, providing coverage for 12 claims involving bodily injury, property damage (including loss of use of tangible property 13 that has not been physically injured), cleanup costs, remediation, disposal or other handling 14 of pollutants, including costs and expenses incurred in the investigation, defense, or 15 settlement of claims, arising out of any one or more of the following: 16 1. Contractor’s operations related to this project. 17 2. Remediation, abatement, repair, maintenance or other work with lead-based paint or 18 materials containing asbestos. 19 3. Transportation of hazardous materials away from any site related to this project. 20 21 All entities listed under 1-07.18(2) of these Special Provisions shall be named by 22 endorsement as additional insureds on the Contractors Pollution Liability insurance policy. 23 24 Such Pollution Liability policy shall provide the following minimum limits: 25 *** $2,000,000 *** each loss and annual aggregate 26 27 1-07.23.GR1 28 Public Convenience and Safety 29 30 1-07.23(1).GR1 31 Construction Under Traffic 32 33 1-07.23(1).INST1.GR1 34 Section 1-07.23(1) is supplemented with the following: 35 36 COE 1-07.23(1).OPT5.FR1.docx 37 (October 3, 2022) 38 Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are subject to the following restrictions: 39 40 *** No lane closures or single lane alternating flagging operation will be 41 permitted between 10:00pm and 7:00am. *** 42 43 If the Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the 44 Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the Contractor 45 in writing of any change in the closure hours. Exceptions to these restrictions may be 46 considered by the Engineer on a case-by-case basis following a written request by 47 the Contractor. 48 49 Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are not allowed on any of the following: 50 51 1.
