E. Meetings 1. Kickoff Commissioning Meeting: The CA will schedule and lead a commissioning kickoff meeting with the entire commissioning team in attendance. The CA will distribute the meeting agenda to all parties prior to the meeting. Information gathered from this meeting will allow the CA to update the commissioning plan, PFPTs, and FPTs. 2. Progress Commissioning Meetings: The CA will schedule and lead progress meetings as deemed necessary by the CA as construction progresses during the commissioning phase. These meetings will cover coordination, deficiency resolution and planning issues with Cx team members. The GC shall assure attendance of the appropriate subcontractors at the meetings. 3. Plan and coordinate meetings as required to monitor construction and commissioning progress the work. Notify the Owner of construction job-site meetings to address coordination, deficiency resolution and planning issues. All commissioning team members are required to attend progress meetings, unless exception is specifically provided by the CA. 4. The commissioning team shall schedule activities to expedite the testing process and minimize unnecessary delays, while not compromising the integrity of the procedures. Successful commissioning requires cooperation of the General Contractor, Contractors, vendors, Architect, Engineers, Commissioning Authority, Owner, and building manager. V. CX SCHEDULE A. Commissioning Milestone Schedule 1. The commissioning schedule summarizes the commissioning activities to be performed on the project. See attached Cx Schedule for details. B. Cx Schedule Coordination 1. General Contractor will provide the CA with a complete construction schedule. Upon receipt of construction schedule, the CA will provide the General Contractor and Owner with a complete commissioning schedule. 2. CA will coordinate with the General Contractor and subcontractors to integrate Cx activities into the overall construction schedule. The Cx schedule will be updated and submitted as information changes during the project. 3. Detailed integration of Cx activities and tasks into the construction schedule is critical to maintaining project milestones. Cx activities will be scheduled with the General Contractor prior to respective construction phase activities. 4. Cx activities will be coordinated to occur while required subcontractors' Verification and Testing personnel are on-site and available, per General Contractor's construction schedule. 5. Coordinated schedule will include milestone activities for each significant project event through construction to building systems commissioning completion.
