PUBLIC WORKS
your resubmittal to address the comments below(handwritten remarks under each comment
on this letter are perfectly acceptable). The below listed sheets have redlines.
i. Sheet C2.1
ii. Sheet C4.1
iii. Sheet C5.1
c. The 4" cast iron water main in 103rd ST SW has an available fire flow of 820 gallons per
minute. This is insufficient for a new hydrant connection or the sprinkler system in the
building. The water main would need to be upsized to 8" from the connection
approximately 370' west to the project location.
d. This project is in the Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District and they require separate
plan review for sewer systems within their boundary.
2. The comments below were generated from this project's Stormwater Reviewer. DRAINAGE REPORTS (Stormwater Site Plans)
General
MR#9: Operation and Maintenance
A separately bound copy of the Maintenance and Operations Manual shall be
provided to the City for its files. The following language shall also be provided in
Section VIII of the Stormwater Site Plan report and in the O &M manual itself:
A copy of the maintenance and operations manual shall be retained on-site or
within reasonable access to the site and shall be transferred with the property
to any new owner. A log of maintenance activities that indicate what actions
were taken shall be kept and be available for inspection by the City of Everett
upon request.
Special Reports and/or studies
If possible, an electronic copy of the geotechnical report shall be provided. The City
archives these documents separately and makes the test pit logs available online.
The hope is the City can eventually use this information to improve the City's LID
infeasibility maps. An electronic copy saves the City from having to tear apart the
stormwater report to scan the geotechnical pieces, and is much appreciated by City
staff...
b.
