September 18, 2024 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., September 18, <br />2024, by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Zarlingo, Vogeli, Fosse, Rhyne, Bader, and <br />President Schwab were present. Mayor Franklin and Council Member Tuohy were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the September 11, 2024, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />There were no members of the public who spoke. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the State Auditor exit conference and gave recognition to <br />employees of the finance department for their work in the audit process. He also attended <br />Snohomish County’s Regional Law and Justice Council meeting and the Puget Sound Regional <br />Council Transportation Policy Board. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli is attending the Transit Advisory Committee tomorrow morning. <br /> <br />Council Member Fosse made a motion, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to work with legal <br />on a tenant relocation assistance policy. She also provided comments on consent agenda item <br />#3. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne provided comments on consent agenda item #4. She also attended the <br />Lowell and Valley View Neighborhood Association meetings, and stated next week the Pine-Hurst <br />Beverly Park Neighborhood is hosting a bingo event in lieu of their meeting at the Boys and Girls <br />Club at 6:30 p.m. She also stated the Monte Cristo Award nominations are now open until <br />September 30th.
