ORDINANCE NO. - 2O39 • A n Ordinance providing for a re-assessment in Local II Improvement District No.373 of the City of Everett, for the improve- 1 2 ment of the bridge leading from the east line of East Grand Avenue on Everett Avenue to the East line of Railway Avenue, by the removal 3 4 of old lumber, replacing caps, stringers,decking, side walks and hand rail and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith 5 to make a complete improvement in accordance with Resolution No.2929 6 of the City of Everett; creating an assessment district; creating 7 a Local Improvement District Fond therefor; providing that said 3 9 improvement be made by special assessment upon the property in said district by the mode of payment by bonds and dividing said 10 district into a Direct Benefit District and into an Indirect Benefit 11 District, 12 Whereas, the City council of the City of Everett,tt, by 13 resolution io.2887 of the City of Everett declared its intention to 14 order the improvement of the bridge leading from the East line of 15 East Grand Avenue on Everett Avenue to the Fast line of Railway 16 Avenue by the removal of old lumber, replacing caps, stringers, 17 decking, side walks and hand rail and doing all other work necessary 18 in connection therewith to make a complete improvement according 19 to the plans and specifications prepared by the City . igineer, and, 20 21 j Whereas, certain owners of property in the district 22 described therein appealed to the Superior Court from the confirma- 23 tion of the assessment roll for said improvement, and, 24 Whereas, After a hearing on said appeal the Superior 25 Court of jnohomiish County ordered the assessments of the appellant 26 reduced, and, 27 28 Whereas, it has, by the City Council been deemed 29 advisable and necessary to order a re-assessment end to bring 30 31 -1.
