Exhibit A (Scope of Work) SCOPE OF WORK Scope of Work: Everett Chamber of Commerce Establishment and Launch Project Overview: This scope outlines a comprehensive, phased approach for establishing and launching the Everett Chamber of Commerce, focusing on its mission to serve Everett’s business community. The Service Provider will work under contract with the City of Everett, and PHASE 1: Planning and Formation Management and Administration: • The Service Provider will develop a detailed chamber implementation plan, outlining activities, milestones, budget, timelines, and membership structure. • The Service Provider will hold bi-weekly meetings with the City of Everett’s designated representative(s) to review progress, address challenges, and adjust the plan as necessary. Facilitation: • The Service Provider will work with City staff to recruit and invite 6-8 members of the business community to form an Everett Chamber Formation Committee. A member of the City’s Community, Planning and Economic Development Department and an Everett City Council member will serve as liaisons. The City will approve the final composition of the Committee. • The Service Provider will set the meeting schedule, handle all arrangements, and provide meeting agendas. • The Service Provider will document key contributions, agreements, and concerns from the Committee and share them with City staff. • The Service Provider will leverage the Committee's feedback to shape the chamber’s plans, structure, strategies, and fiscal sustainability. Board Development: • The Service Provider will identify potential founding board members representing a diverse cross-section of Everett’s business community. • The Service Provider will draft board orientation materials and create an onboarding agenda for initial board members.
