Failure to timely register an animal or to comply with the conditions of registrations shall <br /> constitute a violation of this chapter. <br /> D. Violation of any of the provisions of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor, and may <br /> be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars or imprisonment in jail not to exceed <br /> ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 10: Section 14 of Ordinance 1810-91 (EMC 6.04.140) which reads as follows: <br /> Violation-Penalty. <br /> A. Unless otherwise provided, violation of any of the provisions of this chapter constitutes an <br /> infraction, and may be punished by a fine not to exceed two hundred and fifty dollars. <br /> B. Penalty and enforcement provisions provided in this chapter shall not be deemed exclusive, <br /> and the city may pursue any remedy or relief it deems appropriate. <br /> C.
