<br />existing structures, the Project site, and other property owned by the City or <br />others, shall be repaired by the Contractor to the satisfaction of the Project <br />Manager at no additional cost to the City. At no time during the execution of this <br />Contract shall the Contractor direct City staff or City agents to assist in the <br />execution of the Work. <br />Hazardous Materials <br />6.22.13 The Contractor will comply with WAC 296-901 Global Harmonized System for <br />Hazard Communication; and provide properly communications with personnel to <br />prevent injury or illness. <br />6.22.14 The Contractor will take the following precautions to lessen the <br />possibility of exposure to any hazardous material(s): <br />• Notify all Subcontractors and/or suppliers of any Hazardous Materials that <br />may be on site; <br />• Label any Hazardous Materials brought on site as to contents, hazard <br />warning, name and address of manufacturer; <br />• Provide the following written information to Project Manager <br />prior to commencement of Work: <br />1. A list of Hazardous Materials to be used during the construction <br />phase of the Work along with appropriate Material Safety Data <br />Sheets. <br />2. A list of any Hazardous Materials that have been incorporated into <br />the project and will remain on site, along with the Material Safety <br />Data Sheets. <br />6.22.15 Contractor is not to cause or permit any Hazardous Material(s), as defined <br />herein, to be brought upon, kept or used in or about the job site except to the <br />extent such Hazardous Materials are necessary for the prosecution of the Work <br />or are required pursuant to the Contract Documents. <br />Removal of such Hazardous Materials will be undertaken within twenty-four (24) <br />hours following City’s demand for such removal. Removal will be undertaken by <br />Contractor at its sole cost and expense and will be performed in accordance with <br />all applicable laws. Any damage to the Work, the job site or any adjacent property <br />resulting from the improper use, or any discharge or release of Hazardous <br />Materials will be remedied by Contractor at its sole cost and expense, and in <br />compliance with all applicable laws. Contractor will immediately notify City of any <br />release or discharge of any Hazardous Materials on the job site. Contractor will <br />be responsible for making any and all disclosures required under applicable <br />"Community Right-to- Know" laws. Contractor will not clean or service any tools, <br />equipment, vehicles, materials or other items in such a manner as to cause a <br />violation of any laws or regulations relating to Hazardous Materials. All residue
