Element is not applicable.
SWPPP Element 9: Control Pollutants
Due to the size of the project, this is not anticipated to be a significant issue.
SWPPP Element 10: Control Dewatering
Because of the soils and lack of groundwater in the depth of excavations proposed, there
should be no need for significant, if any, dewatering.
SWPPP Element 11: Maintain BMPs
Notes will be included on the SWPPP for maintenance of BMPs.
SWPPP Element 12: Manage the Project
Due to the disturbance area of approximately 1.5 acres, a Certified Erosion and
Sedimentation Control Lead (CESCL) is required. The CESCL shall be identified at the
pre-construction conference and shall retain current Washington State CESCL certification
until all TESC BMPs have been removed from the project site. Notes are included on the
TESC plan for inspection, maintenance, construction sequencing, and reporting on
SWPPP measures.
SWPPP Element 13: LID Protection during Construction
The stormwater management facility shown on the plan (infiltration trench/pit) shall be
protected during construction. This shall include protection from sedimentation in the
facilities and compaction of the subsurface soils. Construction equipment shall be kept off
of these facilities to retain infiltration capacity of the existing subsurface soils. Any
sediment that accumulates within these facilities during construction shall be completely
removed with excavation to the bottom of these facilities, to provide a clean and
undisturbed existing soil.
The inlet pipe to the infiltration facility shall not be connected to the facility until the site has
been fully stabilized, to prevent sediment from entering the infiltration area.
