I am the planner assigned to the land -use review of these projects. Additional comments may
also be provided by other Departmental reviewers for your application; please utilize the Online Permitting Portal to
check on the status of other reviewers.
Before continuing with our review, Planning requires the following items to be addressed:
Site plan.
• Photographs do not scan well for our digital archives; please draw a basic site plan.
When you draw the site plan, please include:
o Show the location of the home and other structures on site, including decks and ramps.
o Clearly label the distance from the front deck and ramp to the front property line
o Clearly label the location of off-street parking
o Please print on your site plan this note: "Required off-street parking for an Adult Family Home is two
spaces, plus one for each staff person on a shift not living onsite."
o One additional note: your driveway can be a maximum of 30' wide in the 'front setback" area (the 'front
setback" is the 20' area closest to the front property line). Please label the width of the driveway in your
site plan.
Please note that these comments do not constitute an exhaustive plan check review. These comments are only related
to the land use code, and do not account for all possible requirements either from Planning or other departmental
reviewers.
