The weather conditions during the site visit were sunny and mid-70s.
Upon arrival on site, the contractors had cut approximately 4 feet in depth into native material.
The exposed very dense native Till exhibited 1" or less of penetration with a 3/8" T-probe
under full body weight. The exposed Till appears firm and unyielding and meets the bearing
capacity requirements given in the construction documents and as recommended in the project
geotechnical report by Terra Associated from 2016.
GeoTest will return for further observation upon request.
Image 1- Observation of
native cut.
