Multiple <br /> comments have not been completely addressed and require additional action before a permit can <br /> be issued. Additional comments have also been included based on a review of the revised <br /> construction drawings. The comments are itemized for consistency with the original review letter. <br /> These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by <br /> other departments including Public Works, Planning, and Fire. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be <br /> submitted to Permit Services for review: <br /> a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br /> b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br /> c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations. <br /> d. One copy of the geotechnical report. <br /> Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br /> for compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your <br /> application will be given priority and the review will recommence. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. A geotechnical evaluation should be performed and recommendations provided based on a <br /> review of the proposed project and site conditions The report should include lateral earth <br /> pressures for retaining walls including active pressure, building dead and live load <br /> surcharges, and seismic surcharge pressure. The recommendation should also include <br /> recommendations for maximum temporary soil cuts and shoring. See IBC Sections 1610.1, <br /> 1803.5.12 Item 1 and 1807.2.2. The design values should be specified in the construction <br /> drawings. See IBC Sections 1603.1.6, 1603.1.8, 1803.1, and 1803.6. <br /> Paae 1 of 3 <br />
