We are resubmitting 2 physical sets of the revised architectural drawings with all changed <br /> bubbled. <br /> Architectural <br /> Fire Protection: <br /> 1. Comment: The fire-rated exterior walls on Grids G, C, 5, and 10 are required to be continuous through <br /> the floor and roof construction. details should be included demonstrating the required construction. <br /> See IBC section 705.6. <br /> Response: Per 04/05/2023 phone conversation, see added fire protection details 18/A5,2, <br /> 19/A5.2, 20/A5.2, & 1/A5.3 illustrating fire protection of floor and roof <br /> penetrations to maintain continuous fire protection from grade to top of <br /> parapet, <br /> 2. Comment: Continuing with the previous comment, the fire-rated exterior walls require parapets per <br /> IBC sections 705.6 and 705.11. details should be included in the drawings. The parapets should <br /> extend a minimum of 30 inches above the roof surface per IBC section 705.11.1. Alternatively, the <br /> roof construction should comply with section 705.11 Exception 4. <br /> Response: See revised sheets,A2,3,A4.1,A4.2,A4,3, &A4.4 illustrating a minimum of.30" <br /> high parapet at fire walls, <br /> Egress: <br /> 3. Comment: The stairways in the plans on sheets A2.1 and A2.2 specify minimum total widths of 7'-6" <br /> including the intermediate wall.
