<br />Subcontractor An individual, firm, or corporation having a direct contract with <br />Contractor or with any other Subcontractor for the performance of <br />a part of the Work at the site. <br />Sub-Subcontractor A Sub-Subcontractor is a business entity that has an agreement with a <br />Subcontractor to perform a portion of the Work. The term Sub- <br />Subcontractor means and includes the Sub-Subcontractor at all tiers. <br /> <br />Substantial <br />Completion <br />The Work or a specified part thereof has progressed to the point <br />where, in the opinion of Project Manager as evidenced by his/her <br />certificate of Substantial Completion, the Detailed Scope of Work is <br />sufficiently complete, in accordance with the Contract Documents, <br />so that the Work or specified part can be utilized for the purposes <br />for which it was intended; or if there be no such certificate issued, <br />when final payment is due in accordance with section 12.4. The <br />terms "substantially complete" and "substantially completed" as <br />applied to any Work refer to Substantial Completion <br /> <br />Supplementary <br />Conditions <br />That portion of the Contract Documents that amends or <br />supplements these General Conditions. <br />Supplier A vendor, supplier, distributor, or materialman which supplies <br />material or equipment used in the performance of the Work.
