Please review and respond to the <br /> comments below. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. In the calculations there is a hot tub dead load listed in the dead loads.This hot tub dead load is not <br /> used in the calculations and there does not appear to be a hot tub located on the deck on the plans. <br /> If a hot tub is intended to be placed on the deck, revise the calculations, and show it on the plans. <br /> IRC 301.1 <br /> 2. The proposed deck footing (ground screw) is lacking sufficient documentation of the proposed use <br /> and requirements: <br /> a. The plans indicate an ICC ES Product Certification has been completed but no ICC-ES <br /> Evaluation Report number was provided. Please provide this report number. <br /> i. A Ground Screw IMES Evaluation Report (ESR-4226)was reviewed that <br /> required a site-specific geotechnical report and special inspections per IBC <br /> 1705.1.1. Please provide the specific ICC-ES report for the Ground Screw that is <br /> specified for this project or provide site-specific geotechnical reporting and <br /> special inspection requirements on the plans. <br /> b. The table provide on the plans has four ground screws,the option to be used is not <br /> indicated. If sufficient information is provided for the comments above, please indicate <br /> which ground screw option should be used. <br /> c.
