The annual license fee charged for every <br /> driver's permit or license shall be in the sum of Five ( e;i.00) <br /> Dollars per annum and all licenses for Jitney Busses and drivers, <br /> as herein provided, shall be iseued by the City Clerk after ap- <br /> proval by the Commissioner or eublic Safety of apelication therefor. <br /> Section 7. No permit or license shall be granted for <br /> the operation of any Jitney Bus on any of the following streets, <br /> or portions of utre ts, in the City of . :verett, and it Shall be <br /> unla- ful for the owner or driver, or either of them, of any <br /> Jitney Bus to operate, or drive, or cause to be operated or <br /> driven, any Jitney Bus on any of said streets, or portions of <br /> streets, to-wit: <br /> On Colby Avenue, bet-een cl'Ind Street and <br /> 18th Street; on Rucker Avenue, bet-een lOth Street and 12th <br /> Street; on any part of Bond Street south of Hewitt Avenue; on <br /> Summit Avenue, betleeen California Street and 19th Street; on <br /> Broadway, between 41st Street and lath Street; and on Hewitt <br /> Avenue, between Bond Street and State Street, except that the <br /> routes, for -Tlich licenses may be granted, shell pexe ,it the <br /> crossing of any of the street e mentioned in this Section at any <br /> intersecting street, except that neither Hewitt Avenue nor Colby <br /> Avenue may be Crossed at their intersection with each other, and <br /> may also permit the driving of a Jitney Bus for one block longi- <br /> tudinally on lieeitt Avenue at any place between Rucker Avenue <br /> and. Hoyt Avenue and between 7:etmore Avenue and Lombard Avenue, <br /> for the purpose of making a loop, but this shall not be construed <br /> to permit a Jitney Bus to load or unload passengers any place <br /> on Hewitt Avenue. <br /> Section 8. In granting the license for the operation <br /> of a Jitney Bus herein provided for, the said license shall <br /> specify the route, or routes, to be operated over, and it shall <br /> be unlawful for the owner or driver of any Jitney .eus to operate <br /> or drive the same upon any other or different route than that <br /> specified in the license therefor, and it shall also be unlawful <br />
