4111 ORDINANCE NO. 1956 2 3 An Ordinance granting the Puget Sound International 4 Railway & Power Company, its successors and assigns a franchise 5 to construct and operate a street railway on Summit Avenue from 6 Twenty-third Street to Twentieth Street in the City of Everett and 7 providing for the re-laying of its tracks upon Summit Avenue 8 from Everett Avenue to Twenty-third Street in said City of 9 Everett, 10 11 THE CITY OF E ERETT DOES ORDAIN 12 Section 1 ; That there is hereby granted to the Puget 13 + 14 Sound International Railway and power Company, a corporation created and existing under the laws of the State of Caine and to its succ- 15 essors and assigns the right, privilege, authority and franchise 16 until the 3rd day of December,1950 to locate, lay down, and main- 17 Cain a single track for a street railway line and erect all necess- 18 ary poles, wires and appurtenances for the operation of the same 19 and with the right, privilege and authority tc equip, maintain 20 and operate such street railway line along Summit Avenue from 21 Twenty-third Street to Twentieth Street in said City of Everett and 22 to carry passengers and freight thereon and to charge and collect 23 reasonable rates and fares for carriage thereon and with the right 24 to make all proper and necessary connection with any track heretofore, 25 now and hereafter existing on Summit Avenue, the location of the track 26 hereby authorized shall be in the center of said Summit Avenue and in 27 addition to the track on Summit Avenue between Twenty-third Street 28 and Twentieth Street, the Compery is hereby granted the right, 29 privilege and authority to construct and maintain a loop at Twentieth 30 Street for the purpose of turning its cars, which loop is to be not 31 .,lr.
