Scope of Work <br />continued <br />City of Everett 2 <br />Dorn Ave. Drainage Improvements Otak <br /> <br />Otak’s Scope of Services for this project includes the following: <br /> Project Management and Coordination <br /> Site Investigation <br /> Topographic Survey and Basemap <br /> Drainage Analysis <br /> Options Analysis <br /> Utility Coordination <br /> Preliminary Design (30%) <br /> Final Design (60, 90, 100%) <br /> Geotechnical Support <br /> Environmental Assessment and Permitting <br /> Advertisement and Bid Support <br /> Construction Engineering Support (Optional) <br /> <br />1. Project Management and Coordination <br />The project is anticipated to last 9 months with notice to proceed in November 2024 and completion in <br />August 2025. The City’s plan is for construction to occur in 2025/2026. <br />1.1 Coordination with the City <br />Otak will coordinate with the City on a regular basis by phone and email to keep the project manager <br />informed about project progress, project issues and schedule. Otak will assist in scheduling project <br />related meetings, reviews, and other coordination activities needed to keep the project moving forward. <br />Regular communication with the City project manager will occur on a weekly basis, and a status report <br />will be provided to the City each period summarizing tasks accomplished, anticipated tasks for the next <br />period, percent of work complete, and budget status. A half-hour status meeting will occur bi-weekly. <br />1.2 Project Management Plan <br />Otak will create a Project Management Plan for the project. The Project Management Plan will define <br />project goals and design criteria, communications, deliverables, quality control requirements, and a risk <br />issue log for the project. A project schedule (MS Project) will be developed and maintained as part of the <br />Plan. The Project Management Plan sections will include: <br /> The Project Work Plan (scope, schedule, and budget) <br /> Communications Management Plan <br /> Risk Management Plan / Risk Issues Log <br /> Change Management Plan <br /> Quality Assurance Management Plan <br />The Project Management Plan will be completed after the kickoff meeting. <br /> <br />
