Scope of Work <br />continued <br />City of Everett 4 <br />Dorn Ave. Drainage Improvements Otak <br />TASK 2 ASSUMPTIONS <br /> This task will support the options analysis for the McGill Ave bypass outfall. <br /> City provides available past maintenance records, drainage complaints, photographs, and stormwater <br />infrastructure information. <br /> The City will coordinate right of entry – contacting landowners and securing rights. <br /> The City will provide access to McGill pond. <br /> <br />3. Topographic Survey and Basemap <br />3.1 Survey and Basemap <br />This task will provide topographic surveying and mapping along the project areas near Dorn Avenue and <br />McGill Avenue. Survey 25 feet on each side (50 feet wide) of the design pipe alignment on private <br />properties. Survey from edge of pavement to edge of pavement of the design pipe alignment along Holly <br />Drive, Evergreen Way and McGill Avenue, including surface utilities 5 feet beyond the edge of pavement <br />and excluding the portions of Evergreen Way that was previously surveyed by Matron. Along Dorn <br />Avenue, the survey will extend to the right of way limits and include ditch areas on the south side where <br />the storm lines enter and exit. <br />The task will include: <br />· Establish survey control. Horizontal datum will be on Washington State Plane, north zone, NAD <br />83/2011 adjustment. Vertical datum will be on NAVD88. <br />· Contact Washington Utility Notification Center to request utility locates and request maps. <br />· Verify a sufficient amount of Metron’s control points and incorporate Matron topographic survey <br />into Oak’s base map. <br />· Provide topographic surveying and mapping of constructed and natural features. Topographic <br />features include, but are not limited to: roadway including gutter line, edge of pavement, curb, <br />sidewalk, driveways, buildings, structures, striping, utilities, fences, 8” DBH trees and larger, <br />break lines, ground shots, outfall pipes, rim/invert elevations and pipe sizes of inlets and <br />manholes. Connecting storm structures will be surveyed outside of the area to be surveyed and <br />mapped. <br /> <br />3.2 Boundary Survey <br />This task will provide right-of-way and property lines along the project areas. <br />This task will include: <br />· Perform survey research <br />· Search and tie survey monuments <br />· Resolve right-of-way and property lines <br />· Prepare monument removal permits, up to 2 are assumed <br /> <br />3.3 Property and Easement Acquisition Support <br />Otak will recommend easement dimensions to allow for construction of conveyance improvements and <br />future maintenance by the City on private property after 60% design. There are up to 8 parcels (8825, <br />8821, 8921 and 9011 Evergreen Way; 204 Dorn Avenue; undeveloped parcel 00480200200600 between <br />Holly Drive and Evergreen; 31 or 110 E. McGill Ave) needing acquisitions. Legal descriptions/exhibits will <br />be stamped by a professional land surveyor in the State of Washington. The City’s existing easement
