November 6, 2024 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., November 6, <br />2024, by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Tuohy, Bader, Rhyne, <br />Zarlingo, Vogeli, Fosse, and President Schwab were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the October 30, 2024 meeting were approved. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin provided comments on the new Boeing agreement and Veteran’s Day. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />In the absence of the City Council’s Executive Assistant, any written comments submitted for the <br />meeting will be entered into next week’s regular council meeting for public record. The following <br />members of the public spoke: Bryan Partington and Kari Quaas <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Several council members thanked the public commentors. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy provided a comment on Andy’s Place – Compass Health. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne stated that Compass Health has committed to join the Health and Human <br />Services Committee meeting scheduled for December 4th and provided comments on 1301 <br />Lombard Ave’s (formally Wait’s Motel) rezone and stated that the Lodging Tax Advisory <br />Committee grant applications are now open and due by December 15th. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli provided comments on the 1301 Lombard Ave Rezone and affordable <br />housing. <br /> <br />Council Member Fosse provided comments on Veteran’s Day, Health and Human Services <br />Committee’s upcoming meeting, and the new Boeing agreement. <br />
