November 6, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />President Schwab provided comments on the new Boeing agreement, and the traffic concerns <br />on Pecks Dr., Madison Ave., and Glenwood Ave. in Everett. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided comments on the Multi-Purpose <br />Stadium, and there will be a community information session on Tuesday, November 12th from <br />6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall requested a 10-minute executive session pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4) <br />to provide Council an update on negotiation of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement, <br />with no council action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8090 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$3,384,906.61 for the period ending October 19, 2024, through October 25, 2024. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8091 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $5,307,600.91 for the period ending October 19, 2024. <br /> <br />AWARD – 3RD AVENUE WATER QUALITY TREATMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />To award the Construction Contract for the 3rd Avenue Water Quality Treatment Project to Blue <br />Mountain Construction Group, LLC., of Bothell, WA in the amount of $610,415. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – CAT H95E BREAKER/CAT CV75 COMPACTOR SURPLUS AND SALE <br /> <br />
