CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />3rd Ave Water Quality Facility Division 7 – STORM, SEWER, WATER September 12, 2024 <br />WO No. – UP 3775 SP – 176 <br /> <br />7-05.4 Measurement <br />Delete all paragraphs of 7-05.4 and substitute the following: <br />Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as <br />described in Division B – Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section <br />1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br />7-05.5 Payment <br />Delete all paragraphs of 7-05.5 and substitute the following: <br />Payment for bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be <br />as described in Division B – Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and <br />Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br />7-06 VACANT <br />Delete Section 7-06 and substitute the following: <br />7-06 WATER QUALITY TREATMENT STRUCTURES <br />(******) <br />7-06.1 Description <br />This work consists of furnishing and installing a Pretreatment Unit, Water Quality Treatment <br />Facility, and Roof Drain Connection(s). The Pretreatment Unit and Water Quality Treatment <br />Facility shall be of the same size and model specified and in accordance with the <br />configuration and location shown on the Plans and these Special Provisions. <br /> <br />Water Quality Treatment Facility shall include internal components, including items listed as <br />provided by manufacture, as indicated in the Plans, or an approved equivalent. The gravity <br />block wall surrounding the facility is measured and paid separately in accordance with <br />Division B – Bid Item Descriptions, Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT, and <br />Section 8-24. <br /> <br /> <br />7-06.2 Materials <br /> <br />Concrete 6-02 <br />Plant Materials 9-14.7 <br />Construction Geotextile 9-33 <br />Dissipation Rocks shall be 4” Streambed Cobbles per 9-03.11(2). <br />Perforated Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Underdrain Pipe, <br />8-inch diameter maximum 9-05.2(6) <br /> <br />Underdrain stone shall be Gravel Backfill for Drains, 9-03.12(4), or approved equal. <br /> <br />Diablo Ninebark, Physocarpus opulifolius, 5 gallon, 2-ft minimum planting height. <br /> <br />All materials sections under 7-04.2 and 7-05.2 shall apply. <br /> <br />Underdrain, distribution pipe, riser pipes and fittings shall be SDR 35 PVC. <br />
