Perteet will identify <br />potholing needs, on the utility conflicts spreadsheet, and by preparing an exhibit of <br />potholing locations. Prepare and maintain the utility coordination log, utility conflict and <br />potholing plans, utility conflict and resolution matrix, and distribution of potholing <br />results to utilities. <br />x Utilizing a utility potholing service for those locations that will not be provided by a <br />franchise utility. This Scope of Services assumes up to 8 pothole locations. <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br />x Utility potholing will be provided by a utility locate service under this contract. <br />x The budget assigned for this work element will be limited to the amount designated for <br />this work element. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />x Utility information updated according to pothole results at the 60% and 90% design <br />phases <br />x Pothole location exhibits and results log <br /> <br />6.3 Relocation Coordination and Utility Space Plan <br /> <br />Perteet will coordinate with the franchise utilities regarding franchise utility design and proposed <br />utility locations, and provide the following services: <br />x Coordinating with the franchise utility owner to relocate facilities (facility relocates <br />provided by franchise utility owner), helping identify potential locations for franchise <br />utilities to relocate to. Perteet will review the franchise utilities design and plans in an <br />effort to confirm there will be no conflict with other facilities and the City’s proposed <br />project work. <br />x Prepare Utility Space Plans: Perteet will prepare utility space plans and typical sections <br />that will be the result of the coordination with the franchise utilities and City utilities and <br />will show proposed and existing utility locations. The purpose of these Plans will be to <br />provide potential locations for relocated utilities and to confirm with franchise utilities <br />acceptable locations for relocated facilities and to be used as a communication tool. <br />These will NOT be construction Plans for the City or the franchise utilities. Proposed <br />franchise utilities, as designed by the franchise utilities, will be shown by reference in the <br />PS&E documents described in other tasks. Relocation of the City’s water main, including <br />design and PS&E, will be completed as detailed under Task 11.3. <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br />x The redesign and/or relocation of franchise-owned utilities Plans for construction will not <br />be performed by Perteet, and relocation Plans prepared by the franchise utility will not be
