10.All headers shall be insulated with minimum R-10 rigid insulation per Table R402.1.1 <br /> WSEC. Show on plans. <br /> 11. Projections located in the five-foot side yard setback shall be protected with one-hour <br /> fire-resistance rated construction on the underside of the projection with no openings <br /> allowed. Provide detail for one-hour fire-resistance rated construction at projections. <br /> 12. Projections shall not extend more than 18 inches into the required setback. The <br /> proposed fireplace extends two feet into the setback, please revise. <br /> 13.A minimum of 75% of lamps in permanently installed lighting fixtures shall be HIGH- <br /> EFFICACY lamps. Provide note on drawings. <br /> 14.The slab-on-grade in the garage shall slope to the main vehicle entry doorway. <br /> 15. Provide minimum 36-inch landing not more than 7-3/4 inches below the finished floor at <br /> all entrance/exits. Show on plans. <br /> 16. Specify size and location of all egress windows in entire dwelling. <br /> 17. Show how the Family room in the Basement is provided with light per section R303.1 <br /> IRC. <br /> 18. Specify which "Whole House Ventilation System"will be used for compliance with <br /> section M1507.3 IRC. Show the requirements of the section chosen, do not simply <br /> reference the code section. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International <br /> Residential Code (IRC), and/or the 2015 Washington State Residential Energy Code (WSEC), as <br /> amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required <br /> by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
