CITY OF EVERETT <br /> Public Works Department <br /> January 22, 2019 <br /> Owner: Wilkinson <br /> Job Address: 1511 Oakes Ave, <br /> Plan Check No: C1810-003 <br /> RE: Building Permit Review Letter <br /> Dear Mr. Vital, <br /> In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are <br /> advised that revisions may be necessary before a permit can be issued. Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> All items in the previous correction letter (listed below) are required to be <br /> addressed prior to a building permit being issued. <br /> The structure in its current condition is subject to condemnation if the corrections <br /> listed below are not addressed. <br /> 1. City of Everett and Snohomish County records show a 1-bedroom house with an <br /> unfinished basement and garage. The plans you have submitted show an existing three- <br /> bedroom house with no garage. There are no records of permits for the modifications <br /> that have been done to this structure. <br /> 2. Submit new drawings reflecting the conversion of the basement into living space from a <br /> garage, finishing the unfinished basement, removal of the posts supporting the first floor <br /> framing at the basement and alterations to the layout of the main floor including the <br /> relocation of the kitchen, removal of interior partitions, removal of stairs to upper floor <br /> and vaulting the ceiling (if applicable). All modifications shall comply with the current <br /> codes, including 2015 International Residential Code, 2015 Washington State Energy <br /> Code, 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code, 2015 International Mechanical Code, 2014 National <br /> Electrical Code and the 2015 International Fire Code. <br /> 3. Provide"Building Section"drawings specific to this structure. Sections shall be cut <br /> through both North/South and East/West directions, showing the new construction and <br /> the existing structure. <br /> 4. Provide ledger detail to show how new floor joists are attached to the existing exterior <br /> wall. <br /> 5. Provide detail(s) at existing roof line show how new roof structure s supported at <br /> existing walls. <br /> 6.
