I � r ORDINANCE NO. 1935 1 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of California St . 2 from Wetmore to Broadway by the removal of old lumber, grading to 3 proper grade, construction of concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs and 4 concrete paving, and doing all other work necessary, in connection 5 therewith, to make a complete improvement in accordance with Reso- 6 lution No. 2725 of the City of Everett, creating an assessment 7 district, creating a Local Improvement District Fund therefor, pro- 8 viding .g,►,i- that payment for said improvement be made by a special assess- 9 ment on the property benefitted in said District by the mode of pay- 10 ment by bonds . 11 Whereas, by Resolution No . 2725 of the City of Everett the 12 City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the 13 improvement of California St . from Wetmore to Broadway by the 14 removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of 15 concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs, and concrete paving and doing a1L 16 necessary other work/ in connection therewith, to make a complete improvement 17 in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City 18 Engineer, now therefore 19 20 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 21 Section 1 : That California St . from Wetmore to Broadway be 22 improved by the removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, 23 construction of concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs, and concrete 24 paving and doing all other work necessary, in connection therewith, 25 to sake a complete improvement according to the plans and specifica- 26 tions prepared by the City Engineer, which plans and specifications 27 are hereby adopted and approved. 28 29 Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement , in- 30 eluding all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and 31 assessed against the property included in the assessment district -1-
