• l 1 Council of the City of Everett has declared its intention to order 1 the improvement of Norton Ave. from the north line of Hewitt Ave. to 2 the south line of 22nd St ., by the removal of old lumber, grading to 3 proper grade, the construction of a concrete pavement, the instalia- 4 tion of necessary drainage and the replacement of the 128 foot span 5 at 22nd St . by a trestle, and doing all other work in connection 6 the-rewith, all in accordance with plans prepared by the City Enginee , 7 and 8 Whereas, after due hearing on said Resolution of Intention, No. 9 2746, no objections were made thereto, now therefore 10 11 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 12 Section 1 : that a re-assessment be, and the same is hereby ord- 13 ered for the improvement of Norton Ave. from the north line of Hewit 14 Ave. to the south line of 22nd St. , by the removal of old lumber, 15 grading to proper grade, the construction of a concrete pavement , 16 the installation of necessary drainage, and the replacement of the 17 128 foot span at 22nd St . by a trestle and doing all other work, in 18 connection therewith, to make a complete improvements Said improve- 19 ment to be made according to the plans and specifications prepared 20 by the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby 21 adopted and approved, and that the preparation of an Assessment Roll 22 therefor be, and the same is hereby directed to be made in accord- 23 an c e with law. 24 Section 2: that the cost and gx expense of such improvement , in 25 eluding the necessary and incidental expense shall be borne by and 26 assessed against the property included in the assessment district 27 hereinafter created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shal 28 not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense .f 29 such improvement. 30 31 Section 3 : that there is hereby established a Local Improvement -2-
