. r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1Sa9 <br /> 1 <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley east of <br /> 2 <br /> ]roadway from the manhole on the north property line of 38th street <br /> 3 <br /> to the center line of 39th street; thence westerly along the center <br /> 4 <br /> line of 39th street to a point 21 feet west of the east property line <br /> 5 of Broadti„:ay; thence southerly 21 feet from and parallel to the east <br /> 6 line of Broadway to the center line of 40th street ; thence easterly <br /> 7 along the center line of 4Othm street to the center line of the alley <br /> 8 east of Broadway; thence southerlythe <br /> along center line of the alley <br /> 9 east of Broadway to a point , on the north property line of Cascade <br /> 10 View; also in the alley east of Broadway from the center line of 40th <br /> 11 street northerly 90 feet, by the complete construction of a sewer and <br /> 12 necessary appurtenances; creating an assessment district ; creating a <br /> 13 Local Improvement Fund therefor, providing that payment for said im- <br /> 14 provement be made by special assessment on the property in said Dis- <br /> 15 trict by the mode' of payment by bonds. <br /> 16 hereas, by Resolution No .. ,2_750.. of the City of Everett, <br /> 17 the City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the <br /> 18 improvement of the alley East of Broadway from the manhole on the <br /> 19 north property line of 38th St . to the center line of 39th St . ; thenc <br /> 20 westerly along the center line of 39th St . to a point 21 feet west of <br /> 21 the east property line of Broadway; thence southerly 21 feet from <br /> 22 and parallel to the east line of Broadway to the center line of 4Oth <br /> 23 St . ; thence easterly along the center line of 40th St . to the' center <br /> 24 line of the alley east of Broadway; thence southerly along the center <br /> 25 line of the alley east of Broadway to a point on the north property <br /> 26 line of Cascade View; also in the alley east of Broadway from the <br /> 27 center line of 40th St . northerly 90 feet, by the complete construc- <br /> 28 tien of a sewer and necessary appurtenances in accordance with the <br /> 29 plans prepared by the City Engineer and <br /> 30 whereas, after due hearing on said Resolution and on the petition. <br /> 31 for and against said improvement , and after argument by the property <br /> -1- <br />
