Establish the Rear Location of the Base Frames - Letter G (Surface Mount Only) <br /> Rear location of the base frames depends on model of scissors lift. Measure forward (see Letter G)from each end of the <br /> rear location line mark.Snap a chalk line between marks.This line represents the back edge of the base frames. <br /> 4.5. Establish the Console Centerline and Outside Edge Line - Letter E (Surface Mount <br /> Only) <br /> Measure 3 inches (76 mm) rearward of rear location of the base frames and mark. Repeat and mark a second point. <br /> Snap a chalk line between marks. This line represents the console centerline. Measure(see Letter E)from the installation <br /> centerline to the side where the console is to be located and mark. Repeat and mark a second point. Snap a chalk line <br /> between marks.This measurement locates the outside edge of the console.
