•
•
RXK Series Scissor Lift Racks
13. Anchor Bases & Console
• 1/4 inch (6 mm) is the minimum allowable gap under the base frames.
• 3 inches (76 mm) is the maximum allowable gap under the base frames.
• (Gap greater than 2 inches (51 mm) requires longer anchors than supplied.)
• Jack rail spacing is 37 7/16 inches (951 mm).
• Runways level within 1/16 inch (1 1/2 mm) at alignment height.
• Anchor holes diameter is 1/2-inch.
• After the grout has cured,torque anchors to 50 60 ft-lb.
is NOTE
Using less than 1" (25 mm) gap underneath base frames may result in air jacks interfering with the threshold.
13.1 . Leveling Runways
Lift is designed such that alignment legs are no longer required. All vehicle alignments can be performed with the runways
resting on any lock position. It is highly recommended that a rotating laser type level be used. Once the rack has been
grouted and secured to the floor, it is impossible to correct errors in the leveling process short of breaking out the grout and
repeating the leveling procedure. Install six 1/213 X 3 inch leveling bolts into the tapped holes in each base frame.
-fir- ' ►°
o•f o
LEVELING BOLT
° LOCATIONS
N TE
For r ei+F►tsLl• <s in a recessed pit, raise the base such tha -un-ways re-flash with bay floor.
Then raise the rear of t11 e.base-as-ne unway in the typical bay with the slope toward the garage
door -—
Set the runways onto the locks approximately 30 inches (762 mm) off the ground. This can be accomplished as follows:
Turn the "POWER" switch to the "OFF" Position. Partially open the control console cover so the circuit board is visible. Verify
the jumper across pins labeled "S1" on the circuit board is in place. Depress and hold the button labeled "SW1" on the circuit
board and simultaneously turn the"POWER"switch to the "ON"position. Release the"SW1" button. The green LED located
on the front of the cover should be off and the red LED on the control board should be on (if not, turn the "POWER" switch
"OFF" and repeat this procedure). The control circuit is now in calibration mode
Page 39 of 80
