RXK Series Scissor Lift Racks
siNOTE
While in calibration mode, the"RAISE,""LOWER"and"LOCK RELEASE"buttons function normally, but the
auto-leveling feature is disabled and one runway will rise faster than the other. In order to raise or lower the
lift with both runways approximately level in calibration mode,the"SW1"button on the circuit board can be
depressed while raising or lowering the lift to allow the leading runway to slow down and increase the speed of
the lagging runway. Hold the"SW1"button until both runways are level and then release it.When the runways
get out of level again, press and hold the button again. Repeat as necessary until the lift is at the desired
height. Release the"SW1"button (if depressed)and the"RAISE"button.
Depress and hold the"RAISE"button to raise the runways off the locks approximately 1 inch (25 mm). Release the"RAISE"
button. Depress and hold the"LOCK RELEASE"button.The locks will disengage.While holding the"LOCK RELEASE"button,
depress and hold the "LOWER" button. The lift will begin to lower. Lower the runways until they are approximately 30 inches
(762 mm) off the ground and then release both buttons. Set the runways onto the locks by depressing the"LOWER"button.
Verify that both runways are resting firmly on the same lock positions. Place a set of turnplates into the turnplate pockets.
Adjust the base frame leveling bolts so that both base frames are 1/4 inch(6 mm)off the ground (1/4 inch (6 mm) is the
minimum amount of grout that is required under each base). Using a bubble level, check each runway for side-to-side level.
Adjust the leveling bolts as necessary while maintaining the 1/4 inch (6 mm) minimum gap under the base frames. Using
the laser level(or transit),measure four points on the runways (turnplate centers and slip plate centers)and adjust the
leveling bolts so all points are the same height within 1/16 inch (1 1/2 mm). Be sure to maintain the side-to-side level of
each runway and the 1/4 inch (6 mm) minimum space under each base frame for grout.
Check the spacing between the jack rails at the front and rear of the runways to verify that they measure 37 7/16 inches
(951 mm).Adjust runways inward or outward as necessary. Raise the runways set the runways on the locks near the lifts
full stroke.Check side-to-side level with the bubble level, elevation of the centers of the slip and turnplates with the laser
level(transit),and jack rail spacing. Place the bubble level on the base frames and check for approximate level front to rear.
The frames should not have excessive bow up or down in the middle.Adjust the base frame leveling bolts so that both
base frames are 1/4 inch (6 mm)off the ground (1/4 inch (6 mm) is the minimum amount of grout that is required under
each base). Place the bubble level on the base
frames and check for approximate level front to rear. The frames should not have excessive bow up or down in the middle.
13.2. Install Anchor
CAUTION
Wear safety glasses for procedure.
SINOTE
Before installing anchors, ensure jacks move freely up and down the entire runway at all heights of the lift.
Drill four 1/2-inch diameter anchor holes (one at each corner) for each base frame.Take care to not move the lift during the
drilling process.Thoroughly blow out the holes to remove all concrete dust. Check the gap height between the base frames
and the floor. If the gap at any area of the base frame is more than 2 inches(51 mm),then longer anchor bolts are required.
Page*O
