We will also be
adding/35qsq ft of driveway, while removing370 sq ft of existing
driveway and re-vegitating with a grass& mulch combination.
MR2: Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
1- Preserve vegetation/mark clearing limits
The contractor will fence the south and west property lines in the areas likely to receive any
construction stormwater run-off with silt fencing. The contractor will make every effort to preserve the
existing grass around the areas of construction to preserve the natural filtering of run-off.
2—Establish construction access
The existing asphalt driveway will provide the construction access.
3—Control flow rates
Not applicable to this project
4—Install sediment controls
Sediment will be controlled with installation of a silt fence and existing vegetation.
5—Stabilize soils
Excavation and completion for garage addition foundation is not expected to take long. Any
bare/disturbed soils will not remain uncovered for more than 2 days from Oct 1—Apr 30, and no more
than 7 days from May 1—Sep 30. Contractor will use a combination of plastic covering and/or mulch to
protect soils. Since soil disturbance is expected to be completed by May, no dust control is expected to
be needed.
6—Protect slopes
Site is relatively flat and level. No slopes will be affected.
7—Protect Drain Inlets
No new or existing inlets are proposed or present on or around this site.
