8—Stabilize channels and outlets <br /> No existing channels or outlets are present on or around this site <br /> 9—Control pollutants <br /> No outside chemicals are expected to be necessary for the contruction of this project. Concrete truck <br /> chutes, pumps, internals and hand tools shall be washed out only into formed areas awaiting installation <br /> of concrete or asphalt. Unused concrete remaining in the truck and pump shall be returned to the <br /> originating plant for recycling. When no formed areas are available, washwater and leftover product <br /> shall be contained in a lined container and disposed of in a manner that does not violate water quality <br /> standards. All vehicles working on and around the site would need to meet the State requirements for <br /> emissions. A drip pan or other appropriate temporary containment device shall be placed at locations <br /> where leaks or spills may occur during fueling or maintenance of machinery. <br /> 10—Control dewatering <br /> No dewatering is expected to be needed for this project. <br /> 11—Maintain BMPs <br /> The construction supervisor will be responsible for maintaining all BMPs during construction and <br /> working with the City to relocate or ad BMPs as necessary as site conditions change. BMPs should be <br /> inspected and maintained as needed after every rain event producing more the 1/4" of rain in a 24-hour <br /> period. Also, BMPs shall be inspected on a weekly basis even if site work is not occurring. <br /> 12—Manage the project <br /> It will be the responsibility of the construction supervisor to manage this project and coordinate with <br /> the City Inspector and Engineer. <br /> The construction SWPPP will be kept on site and will be modified if conditions change. <br /> The construction supervisor will perform the site inspections. A certified erosion and sediment control <br /> lead is not needed, as this site is under 1 acre.The construction supervisor will modify or add BMPs as <br /> needed if conditions change. <br /> 13—Protect low impact development <br /> A combination of installation of a silt fence and vegetated strips will be used. <br /> MR3: Source Control <br /> Single Family Residence are exempt <br />
