December 4, 2024 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., December 4, <br />2024, by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Tuohy, Bader, Rhyne, <br />Zarlingo, Vogeli, Fosse, and President Schwab were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the November 20, 2024 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin invited Deputy Police Chief Jeff Hendrickson to introduce new police officers. <br /> <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Fosse, to concur with the <br />appointments of Hannah McGlauflin and Uzoma Nwokedi as new police officers. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, Mayor Franklin pinned the officers with <br />their badges, and Council members congratulated Officers McGlauflin and Nwokedi. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin provided comments on Wintertide events and the 2025 City budget. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received sixteen (16) written comments and the following members of the public <br />spoke: Austin (No Last Name Provided), Olushola Bolonduro, and Michelle Pendergrass. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br />
