December 4, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br />Several council members thanked the public commentor(s) and the new police officers. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne attended the Wintertide Tree Lighting Ceremony, Puget Sound Regional <br />Council Economic Development Committee meeting, and the Health and Human Services <br />Committee meeting. She provided comments on the 2025 City budget, Andy’s Place and Compass <br />Health, and the Rental Registry and Tenant Protections Ordinance. <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) <br />SR-99 Lynnwood and Unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study Executive Advisory <br />Group meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli provided comments on homelessness, cold weather/daytime shelters, <br />and memorialized her friend “AJ”. <br /> <br />Council Member Fosse attended the Boys and Girls Club community dinner, Fiscal Advisory <br />Committee meeting, AquaSox and USL information meeting, Human Services Committee <br />meeting, and requested more information on cold weather/daytime shelters. She also stated that <br />the Monte Cristo Awards and the Economic Alliance Legislative Update are scheduled for <br />tomorrow. <br /> <br />President Schwab requested an update on Vision Zero Everett, gave recognition to the Everett <br />Herald newspaper, and attended the AquaSox and USL information meeting. He stated site <br />selection for the Outdoor Multi-Purpose Stadium will be done at the regular December 18th <br />council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided comments on the construction at Clark <br />Park. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no updates. <br /> <br />President Schwab removed Agenda Item No. 15 from tonight’s agenda. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br />
