residential property that is at grade with our site and currently there is no existing trees or shrubs that create a
buffer or delineation between the two properties. We are recommending 80-100ft of 4ft chain link fence at this
location. You will see on the landscape plan, we will be planting 6ft of new landscaping between the recommended
chain link fence and the site wall. Beyond that-80ft, towards the east, there is a significant natural tree/shrub from
the property line towards north to the residential homes. We are recommending no disturbing the existing wildlife
corridor for the remaining Northern portion of the site.
Similarly, we have identified the need for security at the NE corner of the site, along the fire access off Sound Ave.
As we will be installing afire department approved access gate, we would like to extend the security around the
gate with a 6ft chain link fence. The residential property located at 5731 Sound Ave currently has chain link fence
that extends to the property line (photos attached). We are recommending chain link fence from abutting the 5731
Sound Ave existing fence to the fire access gate.
The residential property located at 5738 Sound Ave has significant natural tree/shrub between the site and their
home. We are recommending chain link fence on our property, west of the natural existing landscape, to the fire
access gate.
Please let me know if this recommendation for fencing is sufficient or if you'd like to discuss any additional fence.
Angie Kim I Sr. Director, Development
Bridge Industrial
O 425 749 5557 I C 206 832 6982
10655 NE 4rh Street
Suite 212
Bellevue, WA 98004
akim (tdbridg eindustrial. c om
From: Steve ingalsbe<Singalsbe(@everettwa. oovv>
Sent: Thursday, September 1, 2022 12:16 PM
To: Angie Kim <aki m(@bridgei ndustrial.com>
Subject: RE: [EXTERNAL] Soundview - split rail fence requirement
Hi Angie,
The yellow lines along the north and east side of the site indicate where a split rail should be located. However, I did
not visit the properties off of Debrelon Lane. If there are fences already located along the south lot lines, no need
for the split rail fence. Where the fence is installed, no need to remove trees. Where there is no yellow line, the
fence is unnecessary as it abuts other required open space or properties with fencing. I met with some neighbors on
the opposite side of Sound Avenue when I was taking a look at the hazardous trees. They preferred no fence where
the red line is shown. I'm thinking that the fence requirement can be eliminated and just post the site as a wildlife
corridor area. Rather than a hedge, additional evergreen trees might be the better approach. Let's discuss further
when I return next week.
