December 11, 2024 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., December 11, <br />2024, by President Schwab. <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Fosse, Rhyne, Schwab, <br />Vogeli, Zarlingo, Bader, and Tuohy were present. <br />Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Bader recited the land acknowledgement. <br />The minutes of the December 4, 2024, meeting were approved. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Franklin stated she attended an Economic Alliance of Snohomish County Leaders meeting <br />last week and stated she is discussing public safety with other regional mayors. Mayor Franklin <br />also commented on the Everett Outdoor Multipurpose Facility being presented this evening. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Council received 14 written comments and the following members of the public spoke: Bima <br />Reinemann, Amy Hieb, Leo Lorge, and Nali Adesso. <br />COUNCIL <br />Several Council members thanked the public commenters. <br />Council Member Tuohy commented on her attendance at the Cultural Commission meeting. She <br />also stated Thursday evening is the Board and Commission Volunteer Appreciation Night. <br />Council Member Rhyne stated the Port Gardner holiday party is scheduled for Monday night. <br />Council Member Zarlingo commented on the Built Environment Committee meeting earlier this <br />evening. <br />President Schwab commented on impacts of the budget cuts.
