December 18, 2024 <br />7 <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: Mark Nysether, Tammy Dunn, Nathanael Engen, Fred <br />Plappert, Grant Harrington, Pete Sikov and Anthony Jansen. <br /> <br />Considerable amount of discussion ensued with Scott, Dan and Ben answering council questions. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli had questions regarding stadium parking. <br />Council Member Tuohy had questions regarding cost adjustments and analysis, financial pro <br />forma request, how operating losses will be covered, and economic impacts by losses. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader had questions regarding parking, incoming light rail, affordable housing, <br />mitigating impacts, collaboration efforts with Sound Transit/Everett Transit, and funding sources <br />to fill the funding gap. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne had questions on if the new site has culturally and/or historic conflicts. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo had questions on new site bond buyers and what they’re interested in <br />and providing comfort in providing an appropriate interest rate. <br /> <br />President Schwab had questions on the funding sources to be able to fill the funding gap. <br /> <br />President Schwab opened the public hearing for the Everett Outdoor Multipurpose Facility <br />Project Resolution. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was call with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – EVERETT OUTDOOR MULTIPURPOSE FACILITY PROJECT <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8117 selecting the Downtown Alternative as the location for the proposed Everett Outdoor <br />Multipurpose Facility Project. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was call with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br />
