• ORDINANCE NO. 1907 An Ordinance providing for the licensing of billiard, pool , pigeon-hole and card tables , and ten pin alleys , fixing the amount of license therefor, prescribing the punishment for the violation thereof , amending Ordinance No.1596 and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No.1596 of the City of Everett is hereby amended to read as follows : "Section 1 : No person shall keep within the City of Everett any billiard, pool , pigeon-hole or card table , or any ten pin alley, to be used or played upon by others for hire or gain, with- out first having obtained a license therefor, and any person who keeps any billiard, pool , pigeon-hole or card table , or ten pin alle ,• in any business house , or in a building or room adjoining or attached thereto, and shall allow the same to be used by persons to determine by play thereon or thereat which of the persons so playing shall pay for drinks , cigars or other articles for sale in such place of business shall be deemed to be keeping the same for hire . Section 2: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1596 of the city of Everett is hereby amended to read as follows : "Section 2: The license fee to be charged by said city for keeping billiard, pool or pigeon-hole tables is hereby fixed at the sum of fifteen dollars( 15.00) per year for each such table , and for keeping ten pin or box ball or bowling alleys is hereby fixed at the sum of ten dollars( $1O.O0) per year for each such ten pin or box cr bowling alley; provided, however, that when a person, firm or corporation shall keepin the same room more than one
